Do Background Checks Work?

From January 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014 almost 5,000 employees were arrested AFTER they have gone through a level 2 FBI fingerprint background check.

Close to 1,500 of these individuals went from Eligible to Not Eligible for offenses including -
  • Sex Offenses
  • Exploitation of the Elderly
  • Grand Theft
  • Battery and Assault

The term “Employee” means any person required by law to be livescan screened pursuant to this chapter, including, but not limited to, persons who are contractors, licensees, or volunteers 435.02(2), F.S.

Close to 60% of all U.S. Businesses do pre-employement drug testing. Furthermore, a majority of these businesses all report that a drug free workplace program has lead to reduced absenteeism and workers' compensation claims, and increased worker productivity/performance.

For the month June EZFingerPrints will be setting up Drug Free Workplace Programs FREE of charge for our existing background check customers!!! We believe a drug free workplace creates a cultural difference in organizations and sets a standard for new hires coming on board.
